Limited Editions

In the world of fine art, a limited edition print is a quality reproduction of an original work of art, published in finite or "Limited" quantity determined by the artist. Ora's "Limited Edition" is the fnest quality recreation of the original oil painted art, not cheap imitations made on a color copier. A limited edition print must be able to stand on its own as a work of art.

The process of reproducing fine art images, known as Offset Lithography, is an art form unto itself. Prints produced via this process are referred to as "Lithographic Reproductions". In recent years, Lithography technology has been developed to the point that it is now possible to achieve very close color reproduction on museum quality paper. The artist reviews the preparation of color separation, plates, and print negatives. Once the printing run has been completed, the plates are destroyed. Lithographs can be transferred to canvas as an additional process. The result is a lithograph that looks and feels like an original oil painting. The artist personally inspects and signs each print of the edition.
